Food justice nonprofit- Food First Newfoundland works with communities in Newfoundland & Labrador to ensure everyone has access to affordable, healthy, and culturally appropriate food. Projects with People’s Food Institute have included a Western NL Food Hub, building the healthy school food initiative, a mobile fresh produce market, and working on a living wage initiative to combat food insecurity.
