Building on a successful pilot launched in 2025, the Maple Beach Community is expanding its household gardening program to help more residents grow healthy food locally. This extension project provides families with additional raised beds, soil, fruit trees, and raspberry plants, alongside essential gardening supplies. By focusing on knowledge sharing and food preservation methods—such as canning, freezing, and dehydrating—the initiative empowers community members to sustain their harvest year-round while strengthening local relationships through shared agricultural activities.
